A WK 860075-E calibration wind tunnel was installed at the Royal Thai Navy's U-Tapao site in September 2023.
The wind tunnel has a jet measuring section with a diameter of 600 mm and a length of 900 mm. The measuring range extends from 0.5 m/s to 75 m/s. Calibration objects are cup anemometers, ultrasonic anemometers and comparable meteorological sensors.
The wind tunnel is driven by a high-performance axial fan with a power consumption of 85 kW.
